Description
It all started with a loud crack on a sunny weekend. My Traxxas Revo 3.3 — my old battle-tested buddy — took a bad landing off a homemade ramp, and the front lower suspension arm gave up the ghost. Not long after, its rear counterpart decided to follow. A quick look online revealed the painful truth: replacement parts were more expensive than I remembered — and let’s be honest, they don’t always last long under real bashing conditions.
So instead of buying another set of overpriced, fragile originals, I fired up Fusion 360 and got to work.
These heavy-duty lower suspension arms (both front and rear) are my no-nonsense, tough-as-nails replacements. They're intentionally chunky — about twice as thick as stock parts — not made for show, but for serious abuse. Whether you’re launching off ramps, tearing through gravel, or just driving like you’ve got a grudge, these arms are designed to take it.
I printed mine with PETG-CF on my Bambu Lab P1S with a textured PEI plate, 0.6 nozzle, and 0.24mm layer height. So far, they've handled everything I've thrown at them — jumps, crashes, and those glorious mid-air "oops" moments. Not a single crack since.
Sure, they might not look fancy — a bit blocky, a bit brute-force — but hey, so is a tank. What matters is that they work.
💡 Notes:
- These are compatible with the Traxxas Revo 3.3 stock suspension setup.
- Tested on bashing terrain, including dirt tracks and jumps.
- Make sure to print them solid or with high infill (I used 8 perimeters and 50% infill for strength).
Let me know if you give them a try — and post your battle scars! Feedback is super welcome, especially if you improve the design.
