Description

This is a miter channel slide for a Delta Table Saw that uses the typical 3/4" x 3/8" miter channel. It can be used for mounting anything that should ride along the miter channel. The slide is setup to use an M6 hex head bolt inserted from the bottom and will sit slightly recessed so as not to impede the sliding of the jig along the channel. See the attached picture for a featherboard (not my design) using two of the slides.

Print this hex head opening on the top side using default tree support, to plate only, with a .4 mm top Z distance between support and object for clean removal. Also, I printed mine at 25% infill. You can probably use either PLA or other stronger materials, but I used PETG.

Mine slides really nicely within the channel but is still more than tight enough. I would not rely on this for extremely high precision jigs however. Use with your own judgment and I suggest some test cuts with any jig built with this to ensure sufficient accuracy.

This fit my Delta 36-725 perfectly. There is no slop, it is a good tight fit. However, I am wondering why it is designed for only metric nuts. There is not an imperial option even on the generator. Could we please get an option for a 1/4-20 bolt. Metric bolts can be found but I have a lot of imperial stuff cluttering up the workshop already. Thanks!
