Description
READ FIRST!!!
These caps rely on the ironing setting to get an amazing top layer finish but that means that the print will be HEAVILY filament dependant. So far I have only verified these filaments to work with my ironing preset:
Bambu PLA Matte Black
Bambu PLA Matte White
Bambu PLA Matte Red
If you are trying this print with other filaments I reccomend starting by printing just the spacebar, tab, and a random letter key to verify that the ironing setting works for that filament or adjust settings accordingly. Otherwise, you can also turn off the ironing setting at the cost of a significant drop in surface finish quality. If you find a filament that works well or with some adjustments be sure to let me know as I will be updating the verified filaments list from time to time.
ALSO IMPORTANT!
DO NOT FIX MODELS. There are some non-manifold edges leftover from blender. They do not affect the prints but fixing the models will cause some font indents to disappear.
DO NOT PRESS ON THE EDGES DURING CAP INSTALLATION. The stem will have a tight fit and will require a lot of pressure that may punch through the 1mm thick top layer if you press them on at the edges. This isn't an issue as long as you only apply pressure directly over the stem(s) while installing the cap onto the switch. If a cap doesn't go flush even with a good amount of pressure and wiggles check for any debris/deformities in the stem before continuing.
