Description

Quirrel from Hollow Knight, stylized 3D printed model designed for multi-color printing. The parts are separated for easy assembly and clean color transitions, including body, mask, shell, and nail. Ideal for fans and collectors.

The head is attached with 4 gridfinity magnets that allows it to turn and it gives more posing options for the model. If you dont have them, the link for a pin that will work is near the bottom of the description. It can be removed later on case you want to put magnets in.

A little busy these days organizing my maker space, so detailed instructions on assembly coming, but it is pretty simple to figure out.

The model is great as are all of the Hollow Knight models you've made thus far. My only gripes are I feel Quirrel's scale is wildly off. He should only be roughly 1.5x the height of the Knight. I may go back and scale him down by -.25 and re-print him eventually. But this is just me being nit-picky. As someone that wants to print as many of the characters as humanly possible, I'd like them to all be to scale relative to one another. Again, just me being picky. I'll be sure to check future prints for scale before printing :D The other thing is the mask/hat is weird. Ignore the poor print, my printer didn't like it for some reason. I attempted to sand it and add some white paint to no avail. But the shape is more like a pancake rather than teardrop. The mask is supposed to resemble the mask of Monomon, as he is her apprentice. So I decided to whip up my own version. Side note, If I sign up as a mega fan, would I be able to suggest more characters? ;) 5 Stars as always!

Ah, indeed the mask is a bit weird hehe. Scale too heje I may go back to remix him, you don't need to be a mega fan hehe, just send a chat so I can keep track of the requests Patron is there purely for support, having another patreon for my day job, would like to avoid the stress of keeping up with the responsibilities of paid fans with this endeavor 😊

Thanks, I've sent one in the past but MakerWorld doesn't allow you to send a second message until you reply to it - I suppose to reduce spam?

True, sorry I forgot to respond. Yes MW only allows one comment until a response :) Grub is going up as we speak, so that will keep you busy hehe. You can also add the profile you made with the correct scaling to the model, and I will make a note so users can print your version in the meantime

Those are supports, remove them. You are supposed to use magnets (6x2), but if you don't have them search "infamous pin" and that will work 👍

I adored this model Here are some suggestions for improvement One eye may be deeper than the other because when gluing the black part it became much taller I solved this by reprinting one of the eye parts with the Z-axis slightly lower I also decided to increase the base slightly I thought it could have a small footprint marking to facilitate it as a guide during gluing and provide extra security I am in love with the model it turned out beautifully I adore this character

Quirrel is awesome! As someone else mentioned a bit big to the scale of the others. I made at 75% but then the magnet didn’t fit. it was a bit finicky to try and resize the holes for the magnet so I just resized the for the win peg and didn’t glue it and still have a tight fit with head rotation. All great modes!

I didn't have magnets so I just superglued it directly and I also didn't remove the supports from the hat I think it looks pretty good and the assembly isn't bad I give this model a five-star rating thank you for your contribution

Is there anyway I can please bug you for an A1 mini version? I’ve tried to change the printer from your PS to the A1 Mini but I’m ending up with arms floating off the plates. I have already printed the weapon, face and Hat… 😊 The set is amazing and would not be complete without Quirrel…

Snap a picture and show me, the small black parts are for the eyes and eyelashes of the "helmet" and eyes of the head. There shouldnt be any other. Connection for the head is a 6x2mm magnet, if you dont have one use this: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1616576-the-infamous-pin-6mm-magnet-replacement?from=search#profileId-1705929
