Description

As of this writing, the TP-Link Deco BE23 is the most affordable Mesh WiFi 7 router available. A quick look on Amazon confirms this: https://amzn.to/44GmlKD

This project is a custom-designed wall mount and cable manager for the TP-Link Deco BE23. Due to its similar dimensions, it is also compatible with the Deco BE25. (While the BE25 offers higher internal speeds, the BE23 is more than sufficient for most users' needs!)

Key Features:

  • No-Drill Installation: This mount requires no tools or damage to your walls. It cleverly uses the router's own power adapter to anchor itself securely to the wall outlet.
  • Total Cable Concealment: A spacious internal compartment completely hides the power cord. A second compartment is designed to store any excess Ethernet cable, allowing for a perfectly clean, cable-free look when operating in wireless mesh mode.
  • Integrated Shelf: The top surface doubles as a convenient shelf, perfect for charging your earbuds.

I have to say, after I finished this design, I noticed there are some similar items sold on Amazon. However, they usually don't have a compartment for the network cable, and somehow the power cable can still be seen from the outside. Although, I admit they might look prettier… like this one: https://amzn.to/4fleXbr

Another consideration is that the Deco BE23/BE25 is relatively heavy. It won't hang level if the plug is not placed in the center. Therefore, in my design, the plug prongs are positioned right in the middle to ensure it's balanced.

The model shown was printed in white PETG, though my preference would have been matte white PLA, which I had run out of. For the best aesthetic, I highly recommend a matte filament. However, the design is straightforward and should work fine with any standard material like PLA or PETG.
