Description

I am installing a dual battery system in my 2020 Toyota TRD Pro 4Runner and needed a bracket to hold a 50A DC breaker. I created this to install onto the factory battery bracket so that the breaker between the starter battery and my 50A Renogy MPPT is as close as possible to the positive battery terminal.

You should only print this using high temp materials such as ABS. I didn't try it in PETG. I would assume it can hold the heat but probably not much abuse if you're offroading a lot.

The breaker is secured to the printed bracket using two M5x20 machine screws secured with lock nuts. The 20mm long screws I used are barely long enough so if you have a 22 or 24mm length, that would probably work a bit better.

Here is the breaker I am using: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DYV9NR9R?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

Printed in PA6 and came out Great! For my serup, Its a little short on the side. Is it possible to make it 21mm on the sides while keeping the center the same? If I do it in Bambu app, it makes the center taller as well.

Would you be willing to share this file? I'm doing a similar setup but the battery bracket for my F150 is much larger...great idea though!
