Tenkara Spool & Fly Holder

This is a Tenkara fishing line and fly holder, based lightly on the famous Kura-san's Wooden Tenkara Line holder, that is handmade and near impossible to get (at least for me). 

It should also fit most Tenkara rods, if it doesn't fit yours, let me know the radius or diameter and I can adjust the model slightly.

This will store your line and your fly safely.

First, put your fly in place, and then spool on the rest of the line.

For the end of the line, you can simply insert a small screw and wrap the line around it as seen in the pictures, maybe print a plastic washer as well. I have some other creative ideas on how to attach the line in the end that I might explore in the future.

Another good way of securing the line if you dont want to use the screw, is simply a rubber band around it, I do that on the store bought line spools.
