Think five parts sounds easy? Think again! 😄 This clever little puzzle uses bendy TPU and a twist-locking helix to trap every piece in place. Twist, press, snap – and boom: it’s locked! Can you figure out the order?

Overview

This model consists of just 5 parts:

  • 1x central core with a helix groove
  • 1x helix screw part (locks the pieces)
  • 3x TPU flexible arms – designed to bend around the core and insert into it

The TPU arms can optionally be printed in different colors.

Join

Assembly

  1. Print all 5 parts – 3x TPU arms, 1x core, 1x helix
  2. Bend each TPU arm around the base
  3. Insert both ends of each arm into the holes in the core
  4. Once all 3 are inserted, slide the helix part through the core
  5. Twist slowly – and watch everything snap in place and lock - IF of course the pieces are inserted correctly….! 😉

Bonus

When pulling out the helix - watch the TPU arms pop out - ready to solve again! 🎉

Print instructions

  • Print TPU arms separately using flexible filament (e.g. 95A) – no supports
  • Print core and helix in PLA or PETG – tight tolerances
  • For clean fit, ensure your printer is dialed in for dimensional accuracy
