Gridfinity Skeleton Grid - Full Range
Print Profile(20)

Description
Hey fellow Makers!
Here is my take on an essential Gridfinity Baseplate, designed with three main goals in mind: Precision, Modularity, and Functionality.
I wanted to create a robust and perfectly dimensioned foundation for your Gridfinity system that prints reliably and offers smart features for a great workshop experience.
This is a "skeleton" version of the baseplate design, optimized to be strong yet material-efficient, saving you both filament and print time. All baseplates are engineered to the exact 42mm Gridfinity standard to ensure perfect compatibility with the entire ecosystem.
The best part? This isn't just one plate. I've prepared a full range of sizes, from a tiny 1x1 up to a massive 6x5, all available as ready-to-go print profiles. This way, you can build the exact layout you need for your space.
Features:
- Skeleton Design: Saves a significant amount of material and print time compared to solid baseplates, while maintaining excellent structural integrity.
- Precision 42mm Standard: Guarantees a perfect fit for all your standard Gridfinity bins & accessories.
- Integrated Magnet Holes: Each grid cell includes four holes for standard 6x2mm round magnets, allowing your bins to snap satisfyingly into place.
- Interlocking System: The outer edges feature small holes perfectly sized for a 1.75mm piece of filament. Use these to precisely align and connect multiple baseplates seamlessly.
- Wide Range of Sizes: A comprehensive collection from 1x1 to 6x5 grids is included to cover any organizational need.
Printing & Selection:
The included print profiles are already optimized for a great balance of speed and strength.
No adjustments needed! Simply choose your preferred grid size from the list of print profiles on the right side and hit print.

A Note on Printer Compatibility (Especially A1 Mini):
To help you choose the right size, here's a quick guide on the maximum dimensions for different printers. The A1 Mini has a smaller print bed (180x180mm) with an excluded zone in the back-left corner.
- A1 Mini Maximum SIze: The largest plate that reliably fits on the A1 Mini is the 4x3 grid. Any grid with a dimension of 4 in one direction and 4 or more in the other (like 4x4) will be too large!
- P1/X1/H2D/A1 Series: Can print all sizes up to 6x5. Please note: The largest sizes (like 6x5) utilize nearly the full size of the print bed and may require you to reposition them carefully in the slicer to avoid the machine's specific exclusion zone/s.
I would greatly appreciate your feedback, a like, and especially photos of your finished make.
Happy Printing!
