Description

Bring that retro feel back to gaming!

with the Switch 2, Joycon 2 controller housing that has been heavily inspired by the N64 controller, i have designed this with holes in the bottom for easier removal and the Z button (trigger) actual works when using the center and right handle.

both left and right joycon 2 controllers can be used with this housing!!

I'd like to understand why it came out like this? What did I do wrong? The back turned out really bad and was even worse, I even had to sand it to improve it, but it still didn't look good. 🤔

Your filaments are surely too humid or old and therefore brittle this therefore makes bad prints

the age old reply "dry your filament". It's a very steep overhang and we are all likely to get poor corners.

Great work thanks! mine messed up the Nintendo sign and left a rough patch on the L button so I printed these bits to stick over them.

how do I insert the Z button arm? seems the opening is too small to fully insert the piece, but maybe I am missing something?

it takes a little squeeze to get past the nub that holds it in once inserted, you are doing it correctly!

It doesn't fit my switch 2 joycons... I'd basically have to cram them in and they started to get scuffed up just trying. Any suggestions? I printed the designer profile and they don't fit. 😔

very odd, it seem to fit all of mine perfectly (with some tolerance as well) it could be filiment conditions causing shrinkage or possible printer calibration issues. you could try and run some calibrations on your end or if you have access to CAD software then you should be able to increase the tolerance. could you send some pics over and I may be able to assist further

sure! maybe hard to see in the pics but I’ve tried several different angles to insert and no luck. the width of the model where the colored portion of the Joycon inserts is right at 102mm. send you a pic of that too

The look itself is great, but I have the problem that the knobs jam a bit during use, otherwise I'm totally thrilled
