Description
Integrated from the open-source model by Canadian Summer on Bilibili. Dougong is a unique element and symbol of ancient Chinese architecture. It is a complex mortise and tenon structure requiring exceptional woodworking skill. Assembly video: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1MA411c75L/?spm_id_from=333.999.0.0&vd_source=9191c2258b8596976cbebc2d21a1267d. While the final model shared by the blogger differs slightly from the video, it serves as a useful reference. The included dowel structure exceeds the actual number required, and the assembled components are those adjacent during installation. If unsure about assembly, refer to the configuration file's arrangement. Upon completion, no extra parts remain.
The filaments used were TuZhuJia wood filaments—a terracotta brown, which is highly recommended, and a black walnut. Due to insufficient terracotta brown filament during printing, black walnut was substituted; the result is quite aesthetically pleasing, but using a single color throughout is advised.
