Finger Fracture Splint

This model is a finger splint for fingers except the thumb.

Size Issues:

• 3 sizes are available: 1 index finger + middle finger; 2 ring finger; 3 little finger.
• The sizes are based on testing by a young man (myself). Each person is slightly different; adjust the size proportionally when printing.

Strength Issues:

• These models have a 2mm wall thickness. I tested a 1.2mm version, which was lightweight, but broke during use; this model is a thicker version.
• A thinner version will exhibit significantly increased strength with materials above ABS.
• Only the original model file for the ring finger is uploaded; scaling can adapt it to other fingers.

Printing Quality Issues:

• Print vertically. The seams are at the back, but some burrs may be unavoidable; use a sanding tool to refine as needed.

Usage Instructions:

• Apply the finger splint. Secure the tail end using a bandage/tape to achieve the splint effect.
• Most holes are for ventilation, not fixation.
