  • M5-0.5mm Hex Nut x 1: https://www.mcmaster.com/91415A030/

Description

A replacement thumbscrew used for adjusting the manual bed level of the Intamsys Funmat HT Enhanced 3D printer.

The screw that came with the machine was stripped and I could not find a replacement anywhere, so I resorted to creating my own.

Printed in PA12-CF. I added a pause at layer 84 (don't know if this shows up in the profile so you might need to manually do this step in the slicer) in order to embed an M5-0.5 hex nut before resuming the print. This hex nut is also another thing that I struggled to find. Ended up having to purchase a pack of 50 when I only needed 3 and paid ~$25USD after shipping and taxes for the pack of 50 from McMaster-Carr.

I placed the parts towards the front of the bed to make it easier to embed the hex nuts during the pause.
