Dahon-Specific Cycle Computer Mount That Does Not Impede Folding

Issue:
Following test rides, the interference-fit axle in the V1 version exhibited rapid wear after extended use, resulting in bracket rotation during cycling;
Revision Details:
- A cylindrical component has been incorporated to restrict rotation;
- The cycle computer mount's angle has been adjusted by 20 degrees to ensure parallel alignment with the ground;
Bill of Materials
- M3 x 8 countersunk nuts X 2;
- Print left bracket, right bracket, and cycle computer mount;
Installation Guide:
Secure the cycle computer mount to one bracket using an M3 nut, without tightening;

Horizontally insert the brackets into the Dahon folding clasp, aligning the cylinders with the holes and inserting fully until the bracket sidewall is flush with the folding clasp;


After inserting both brackets, secure the final screws;

After purchasing a Dahon bicycle, I discovered the handlebar diameter differs from that of road bikes, rendering my existing cycle computer mount unusable. Consequently, I designed this mount based on the folding clasp dimensions;
Does not impede bicycle folding; the computer mount moves in conjunction with the folding mechanism
Required Components
- M3 screws x 2
M3 wrench

Installation Steps
First, attach one bracket to the cycle computer mount base using an M3 screw, and insert it into the pivot at the illustrated angle, rotating to the angle shown in image 3



2. Insert the other bracket at the same angle, rotate to the same angle, and secure with screws to complete installation
