This is the **revised and expanded version** of my magnetic wall mount for spray paint cans

🧲 Now with space for **magnets in sizes 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm**. This allows the desired holding force to be individually adjusted to the size and weight of the cans – ideal for light and heavy spray cans

**New:** There is now a **MAGNET version for 15–20mm**.
Note: This variant is **not yet tested**. Feedback on fit and hold is very welcome – your feedback helps to quickly improve the version

Whether in the workshop or craft room – the holder ensures order and quick access to your spray paints

🧰 Assembly Instructions:

**Insert Magnets:**
Insert as many round magnets into the back until the holder provides sufficient holding force – depending on the weight of the cans
**Connect Modules:**
Insert two short pieces of filament into the connecting holes. Then slide the holders and end caps onto the sides
**Secure:**
Insert the vertical locking pin (also printed) to secure the module against shifting
**Attach:**
Attach to the wall with double-sided adhesive tape **or** screws – depending on the surface

Really good, I printed the version with 3x 20mm and put two 20x3mm magnets in each compartment, it even holds a complete full can. However, the holes for the 20mm magnets turned out a bit too big, so I have to place them carefully. All in all, a great idea and thanks again to the creator for adapting the version to three magnet compartments

I didn’t expect it to hold that well upside down — that’s great to hear! I don’t actually own 10 mm magnets myself, but from my experience with the smaller ones, the real sizes often vary a bit between manufacturers. That’s why I made the holes slightly oversized on purpose. A small drop of super glue should fix them in place securely. Thanks a lot for the feedback and the boost — I really appreciate it!

I just saw that the model for the 3-way and 4-way holder, which is specified for 3x 20mm magnets, doesn't fit the uploaded models have holes for smaller magnets just for your information

This is an excellent model I suggest acquiring the more sizable 8mm x 3mm magnets and employing four for each fastener: two positioned above and two below A quantity of 100 of these was procured from Amazon for 10€

These are great! I'd love if you could do them with maybe 3 or 4 20mm magnets spots on the back. I'd like to try and use them in my work van, but even with dual 15 and 20mm magnets, they're not strong enough to survive the bumps.

Thank you very much for the boost and for your feedback! Based on your comment, I’m working on a new version where the magnets are moved further to the front so they directly touch the can. This version will use 20 mm magnets to increase the holding force. That said, I can’t guarantee yet how well it will hold up in a vehicle, as I haven’t tested it in a work van environment. Thanks again for sharing your experience and idea!

That would be awesome! I'll definitely test them out and see how they hold up. I fear that I may be asking a lot, considering how bumpy it is in the van, but I figure it's worth a shot!

I’ve now uploaded three new print profiles with 3 × 20 mm magnets. The magnets are positioned much closer to the can now. Because of this, there is a visible seam on the front, but the trade-off is a significantly better holding strength.

Printed without flaws, nice design. Realized i didnt have the right magnets, but design is very good.
