Description

Overview

This is a fan-made redesigned version of the classic tabletop dexterity game Click Clack Lumberjack (also known as TacTac Jack). This upload includes all necessary 3D printable parts to recreate the original gameplay experience with a few additional upgrades to customize gameplay.

Perfect for family game night, as a drinking game at parties and more! Rules are not included, but you can use the original or create your own variations using the numbered pieces.

How To Play - Base Rules

As the lumberjack, your goal is to knock off the bark without toppling the tree. On your turn, use the axe to hit the tree trunk twice. For each piece of bark you dislodge, you earn 1 point but if you knock off a core piece, you lose 5 points. The game continues until all bark has been removed. The player with the most points at the end wins. The original rules are included in one of the model pictures (the grubs have been replaced with the numbers).

Changes Added to Gameplay

With this version, all bark pieces are numbered from 1-36 with two additional, optional special bark pieces (skull and life). This lets you add in custom rules such as “If you knock #10, you must do ____”. This is similar to writing additional rules on the blocks when playing Jenga. At the moment, all the odd and even pieces are different colours in the print profile.

Currently, the print profile includes a simple 3-piece axe model that can be attached together. If you want to use a different axe design for more fun and chaos, I recommend this axe-flail combination.

Printing Specifications

  • The pieces should not require any supports to print
  • All the parts can be printed in a single colour, however I think it looks more interesting with different colours.
