Description
Flexible Damping Feet for Audio & Hi-Fi Devices – Modular & Easy to Print
I needed new device feet for my record player – this simple, functional design emerged from that
The parts are easy to print and require no supports or glue
The damping is achieved through the combination of a hemisphere and a donut ring (upper and lower part), which are ideally made from TPU
For a clean result, I recommend:
- Enable surface smoothing
- Layer height: 0.08 mm
- Print order: by object (not by layer)
→ ensures significantly nicer curves and clean parts
Material note:
The specified weight ranges are estimated values and refer to TPU 95A
With TPU 85A or even TPE 83A, you achieve significantly better damping
Assembly:
Simply put together – please pay attention to the correct order (see picture)
Variants:
- soft (up to approx 2 kg)
- medium (approx 2–5 kg)
- hard (approx 5–10 kg)
- additional file with rings for individual color customization
