⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ Update 7/28/2025 ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

I added a print profile to print the model using TPU for AMS. This allows for two things: a more rubbery texture, and the capability to mix colors using BambuLab's TPU for AMS.

Disclaimer about the TPU for AMS version photos: I know the original Pirelli Intermediate tires font color is green, but I printed it on red since that was the only color I had available (besides black).

Happy printing/racing!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As promised, I give you the Pirelli's Cinturato Green Intermediate tires pen holder, inspired in one of the two Pirelli tires used in Formula 1 for wet conditions.

This 3D model is part of a series of pen holders that I started a few months ago:

This print profile uses AMS, which means it will by default print a prime tower. However, this prime tower will be entirely black for the first 640 layers. I opted for disabling the prime tower and just make sure to purge enough filament while changing filament to start printing right away with the green color. This saved me around 30 grams of black filament (~25% of the total filament used for this print).

Everything was printed using Bambu Lab's PLA Basic filament (Black and Bambu Green).

P.S. I will be uploading the final 3D model — full wet (blue) — tires set soon!

Happy printing/racing!
