Description
A simple but robust model that I have used to protect fiber optical cables in UV-Vis and fluorescence setups around labs. This is designed to interface with a Newport-brand optical breadboard (one inch spaced), though it will likely interface with all optical breadboards that are one inch spaced. Vary the Z-axis height as needed for your instrumentation's height (non-uniform scaling of Z axis worked fine for me). I've put these through some fair abuse to ensure they can handle some tough blows without any damage to the underlying cable. As height greatly increases be aware of shear stress, and make sure it's still viable for your application. Printing with 3 wall loops will help mitigate any deformations from shear in general.
