Description

The original magnetic Shit Bucket and compact poop container that mounts to the chassis with five 10mm x 2mm magnets or four 1/2" x 1/16" OR 13mm x 1.6mm ← SAME THING!!!

WARNING: Sport mode (or slower) is recommended (ludicrous wasn't perfect for me).

Changes:

V4 (9/30/25)

(NEW) Shit Bucket - Recommended Magnets (0.2mm, 72.10g, 1h 35m - sport)

(NEW) Shit Bucket - Common Magnets (0.2mm, 72.17g, 1h 35m - sport)

  • Consolidated the three print profiles into two print profiles/models. One model supports a common 10mm x 2mm size magnet, the other supports a larger ~13mm x ~1.6mm magnet. I recommend the latter, as they're significantly stronger, though both are reliable. I've been using the common magnets for years at this point, but I'm swapping to the stronger ones to avoid spilling a bucket full of printer shit.
  • Significantly reduced print times while increasing strength and decreasing material use compared to 2/3 of the old models.

V3 (11/19/23)

(NEW) Shit Bucket - Aesthetic (0.20mm, 73g, 3h 42m)

  • Uses only necessary internal support
  • Decreased filament usage by 16g (when compared to V2)
    • 99g → 73g
  • Improved print time by ~21% (based on Standard X1C speed mode)
    • ~4h 40m → 3h 42m (Sport mode = 2h 49m print)

(NEW) Shit Bucket - Fast & Least Material (0.28mm, 71g, 1h 26m)

  • Decreased filament usage by 2g (when compared to Shit Bucket - Aesthetic)
  • 73g → 71g
  • Prints faster than the 0.20mm variant by ~62% (based on Standard X1C speed mode)
    • 3h 45m → 1h 26m (Sport mode = 1h 5m print)

(NEW) Shit Bucket - Strong (0.20mm, 96g, 4h 18m)

  • Uses less internal support without sacrificing strength
  • Decreased filament usage by 3g (when compared to V2)
    • 99g → 96g
  • Improved print time by ~8%
    • 4h 40m → 4h 18m (Sport mode = 3h 22m print)

V2 (?/?/23)

  • Added internal supports
  • Magnet holes have tighter tolerances
    • 11mm → 10.75mm

This is the perfect poop bucket for what size and shape I feel I need right now. This is only my second day owning a 3D printer, but I've been trying to kick it up a notch. I like to customize things, so I tried to add my spin onto the original. It came out perfect, but I know, in time, I will learn how to do something like this again without kicking the time up an extra 3 hours or using an extra 100 grams of filament lol.

I’m glad you like it and thanks for the boost! This is pretty much all you need if you’re not doing multi-color prints that often (in my opinion/experience). Welcome to 3D printing!

Chose this profile because I needed a poop management solution for my X1C that didn’t take many hours to print. This does the job.

One of the better poop catcher models out there. adequate magnet locations keep this securely on the machine. Printed on a P1S in PLA-Basic, smooth etched hot plate. Nice design and results!

Lot of poop chutes out there. Name alone made me print the shit bucket. Doesnt disappoint. I didnt quite have the right magnets but I had some that fit. Works Great.

Glad it's working well for you. Only problem with Fast is if it gets dropped the layers can separate but it's the least wasteful waste catcher that I know of. It saves money, material, and really doesn't need to be anything more IMO (if you need something compact). Thanks for the review!
