Description
I reverse engineered this RC water jet steering and reversing about 10 years ago.
When coupled with a water jet thruster it provides steering left and right on one channel and using a second channel allows the bucket to swing down and for it to go into reverse.
I used 12 M3 screws to assemble it as shown in the photos. I would suggest using the following.
2x M3x10 Button Head Hex Screw
8x M3x3 Button Head Hex Screw
2x M3x5 Button Head Hex Screw
The M3x10 connect the Bucket to the reverser and are longer to support the bucket.
The M3x5 connect the nozzle to the body and allow the whole assembly to pivot on the nozzle.
The M3x3 are used for the remainder of the left and right connections.
I used M3 set screws in the photos but intend to use button head hex screws as they would be more hydrodynamic in the water.
