Description

Retro Arcade Controller

It won't actually work on an Atari, but it looks like it can!

Inspired by the Atari CX40

Print In Place Fidget Toy

Expanding on my print-in-place/mechanism knowledge base, just wanted to figure out how to make a “joystick” that rotates and centres itself. And tried to implement what I learned from my previous print-in-place button.

It Works!

  • Joystick can rotate 360
    • Re-centres itself
    • print in place
  • Integrate spring button mechanism I designed last time
  • Make it look like the retro Atari cx40 controller

Future Plans

  • Wanted to make sure that it's possible to implement these to a real life microcontroller eventually
  • so in theory this should work cause you would just be able to lil button on the bottom of the joystick
    • same with the button

Lmk if or if not the print works for you! And what else to design next!
