Description

CZ 512 22LR - 15 round magazine

Fully DIY 15 round magazine.
Tested and working flawlessly with my CZ 515 Tactical.

Should also work with:

  • CZ452, CZ453, CZ455, CZ457 & CZ512
  • Brno Models 1, 2 & 5
  • Cogswell & Harrison Certus
  • Norinco JW15 & JW25
  • Lithgow Crossover LA101
(May have to change/file/alter the magazine follower - don't have any of these rifles, so can't test)

0.8mm diameter spring wire, wound around the printable spring jig works well.
Wind it around into the grooves, then use pliers/multi-grips and squeeze each coil flat against the sides of the jig.
Once flattened, wind back off the jig.
With your fingers, pinch each coil and straighten the spring as best as possible (it doesn't need to be perfect)
Anneal the spring in your oven - 260 degrees Celsius or 500 degrees Fahrenheit for approx 2 hours (the spring will change colour)

PLA+ works well.
Testing carbon filled nylon (PA6-CF) in the near future.

Fits great in the CZ 457 Varmint Making the spring is very fiddly Loading up to 10 rounds is easy but after that it gets quite difficult However it can hold 15 rounds

Well done. The springs can be found for little money on Aliexpress and similar platforms

I am having a lot of trouble getting the spring into the magazine body, and the cartridges have difficulty chambering because they catch on the one below

printed great, used a spring from borebuddy, one issue tho. when feeding the bolt cuts into the next round instead of just pushing it out of the way. I'm not sure if it's a print issue, design issue, or just the spring/bolt on my end. still works tho has is a fraction the price of OEM so thank you
