Description

This adorable armadillo is ready to bring a smile to your face. The model can sit, stand, lie down, and hang from things. It can also hold on to its little feet.

Supports: Yes, tree supports. Use provided print profile or set angle at 45 degrees, on build plate only, and remove small overhangs.

Layer Height: The print profile provided has a small layer height for finer detail, but you can adjust this and print the model in half the time if you don't mind visible layers on the shell and arms.

Remove the supports from inside the armadillo before flexing.

To get the armadillo to stand, move the model's hips along the small hidden track inside the shell. One setting will allow the model to stand, and one setting will allow the model to roll up and sit.

If the hips come out of the shell (rare, but has happened with slippery PLA when model was thrown into a purse with other objects), they can be gently snapped back into place with no issues.

For the armadillo remix with cowboy boots shown here, see this model on MakerWorld.
