Backlash Calibration Grid – Syncraft

This is a customizable backlash calibration grid developed for Syncraft 3D printers, including both X1 and IDEX systems.

The model allows you to test different X and Y backlash compensation values through a visual matrix of rings, with customizable start values and incremental steps.

💡 **Fully parametric!** You can adjust:
- Initial compensation (X and Y)
- Step increments
- Number of rows and columns
- Ring dimensions and spacing

Use the grid to identify the optimal compensation value by visual inspection—just find the row and column where the pattern shows the most alignment.

**Recommended usage:**
- Print with your normal material (PLA suggested)
- Set layer height to match your machine's typical print settings
- Measure visually or with calipers if needed
