Inspired by a tool I saw online, I created this device for checking bicycle chains. This tool allows you to check chain stretch and assess whether it needs replacing. The chain checker is designed to have multiple functions; on one side, it can be inserted into the chain links and then lowered with the opposite probe. If the probe remains outside the chain, the chain is good; if the probe enters, it means there is chain stretch (see indicative photo). The other side is used to hold a chain link spring to facilitate the removal or insertion of a master link. On the left side, there is a curve to visually check if the cassette or sprocket gears are excessively worn. There are also four holes, 3, 4, 5, and 6 mm, to check the diameter of screws (by screwing them into the hole). The tool also features a measuring bar to measure any screw length.
