Description
Enclosure for the Ruiden RD series adjustable power supplies, designed for minimal size to suit desktop or mobile use, featuring a casing that includes only the power supply connector. The official manual indicates that the RD6006, RD6012, RD6018, RD6024, and RD6030 have identical three-dimensional dimensions, therefore this enclosure should be suitable for all (the demonstrated connector is an RD6018P).
Input utilizes an XT60H male connector and PD trigger input (maximum 20V/5A), with a switch to physically isolate the two inputs (empirical testing shows that without isolation, high-voltage DC input will directly damage the PD trigger module). However, note that due to residual voltage in the connector after power-off, after connecting a high-voltage DC input, wait at least 5 seconds in the center off position for the voltage to dissipate before switching to the PD input; otherwise, the residual high voltage may still damage the PD trigger module (learned from experience after damaging a second module…).
It is recommended to procure materials according to the BOM, primarily the PD trigger input module (ensure a 100% match with the image). This is the only model among many I've purchased that remains cool to the touch and provides a stable 20V/5A 100W output.
To achieve optimal surface quality, the print speed has been reduced. Restore to the default print speed if needed.
