CX4 TPU Butt Pad 10mm

I recently picked up a Beretta CX4 Storm, but accessories are pricey and hard to find, so I made my own!

This butt stock pad snaps in to the existing groove on the CX4's stock.

I have used part modifiers to gradually increase the infill density and the number of walls, so the pad gets stiffer from back to front. You may want to adjust the %infill on the modifiers if you are using a harder or softer TPU. I used some very old Overture 95A Blue TPU, which printed pretty well with only slight stringing. I did dry the TPU before printing. Also note that I used a custom TPU profile which increases the default retraction to help reduce stringing.

I experimented with making thicker pads, but they did not resist side loading as well as I wanted. I have made another design for a stock spacer to give the stock a little more length without sacrificing stability. You can check my uploaded models for this CX4 Spacer.
