If you value my work and would like to continue supporting me, you could buy me a coffee!

This is OpenRack 2U – Rackfinity, a fully modular and highly versatile insert designed for anyone who needs even more flexibility without being tied to fixed formats. It features three separate slots that can each be customized and equipped independently, making it perfect for a wide range of applications. It takes customization to the extreme and adds further individualization to the OpenRack family. Feel free to make and upload your own inserts here as well!

An example configuration with three Raspberry Pi inserts.

The basic key points:

  • based on the OpenRack 2U rack system
  • base module suitable for both 10 and 19 inch systems
  • modular insert system for easily push-in and pull-out
  • some pre-modeled inserts available at launch

The following configurations are available:

Base Module

Insert closed

Insert Keystone (3x)

Insert Raspberry Pi 3

Insert Raspberry Pi 4

Insert Raspberry Pi 5

Insert Cablemanager

Insert JetKVM (1x)

Insert JetKVM (2x)

Insert U-PoE (15W)

The inserts are uniformly designed and go into all three slots of the base. STL files for base and all inserts are provided. The base is designed and provided with a PLA Basic profile. Depending on the application, I would print the trays in a more heat-resistant material such as PETG or ABS.
