Description

The AMS Flipper is an excellent addition to the AMS but unfortunately there was no version of the AMS Flipper for printers with AMS riser and 4-way PTFE adapter so I created this one.
ATTENTION, this is only the right arm. You still need to print all other parts from the original.

ATTENTION:
This design is not suitable for P2 and H2 printers!!!
You can print it, but it will not fit P2 and H2 printers!!!

The lower screws are 3x16mm countersunk screws.

The profile of the handle is slightly different from the original flipper and I wanted to mount my AMS HT to the handle so I had to modify it. The splitter is very secure in the handle, I didn't even bother to put a screw in.

I wish I could but the creator doesn't allow remixing of their model. If you want to easily replicate it, you can just cut the original model and this one at the same point just below where the 4 way adapter fits in and then merge the bottom from the original to the top of this model. It can all be done in Bambu studio.

I have now completed it and would appreciate a boost. Finally, this four-way splitter is secure and no longer wobbles in the back… However, there is one issue: the original has a curved side facing the printer, not a straight one. This is necessary for the offered side spool holder version to fit. Yours, however, is straight. Even with a heat gun and a file, the result is suboptimal. I cannot change anything at this point. For future prints, I would consider modifying this…

Anyone make a P2S version for this?

I printed the arm and unfortunately realized it is the wrong one The hole for the M3 nut is on the wrong side It belongs on the left side Additionally a curvature for the side spool holder would be extremely desirable If that were implemented it would receive 5 stars and a Boost

Today after 4 weeks of 'experience' with 3D printing I sat down and cut out the part for the PTFE adapter from your arm and installed it into the original Now the spool holder also fits perfectly

Hello, can you provide the file? However, I am using the Flipper without a riser

How did you keep the feed from the buffer straight? I am finding that this part gets blocked from being straight by the side spool! At least this is the case using the Flipper and such on my X1C.

I would love this for use with no riser. Can you design one that has the spot for the 4 way splitter and no riser? Thank you for your hard work.

That does not seem to have the slot for the 4-in-1 however. The one with that hole has the riser, as I just learned after printing it....

I stumbled upon this quite by accident. This is exactly what I've been missing. I'm also using the cool side spool holder from the same creator. Why don't you contact the inventor and ask if he can include your model in his list? I'll get back to you when the print is finished and the holder is reinstalled. However, I first need to figure out how to remove the top screw, which I unfortunately broke. The bit spins freely when I try to loosen the screw

I would drill off the head with a drill, remove the arm and then unscrew the rest of the screw with pliers.

It was a good idea, it worked wonderfully

This does not fit the P2S unfortunately. Very disappointing

I'm sorry that you had to have this bad experience. But when I designed it, the P2S and all the other 2 Series did not yet exist. I have changed the description to prevent other owners of the 2 printers from printing the part.

what kind of a riser did you use?

As a beginner, I printed this and found it didn’t work because I have AMS 2 Pro and it didn’t match the other one I had done for an AMS 2 Pro. now I find I don’t even need it because I am not using external. Now I have gone to a two AMS 2 Pro setup for my P1S.
