Detailed Description:
This adjustable anti-tip support jack is designed to prevent freestanding or non-fixed shelves and cabinets from tipping over, especially in homes with small children. The system works by creating a stable tension between the top of your furniture and the ceiling, greatly reducing the risk of accidents.
22. Nov 2025: Update Customizer - fixed thread issue
The model consists of five 3D-printed parts:
- Bottom Base with internal thread
- Bottom Screw for connecting a 15mm (0.59 inch) diameter round rod (not included; wood or metal, e.g., beech)
- Lock to secure the thread
- Top Base for ceiling contact
- Top Rotor as Rotating sleeve for smooth tightening
Simply insert a 15mm round rod (cut to your desired length - shelf to ceiling distance minus 20mm or 0.79 inch), assemble the printed parts, and tension the jack between your furniture and the ceiling. The locking cap ensures the thread stays secure under load. The jack can also be used as a decorative prop or for other creative purposes.
To test this model when a suitable round rod is not available, or for decorative purposes, you can use the following printable round rod. (Not for strength-related applications!):

Recommended print material: PETG or PLA. For best aesthetics, the wooden rod can be spray-painted to match your decor.
Assembly and Use:
- Print all five parts.
- Cut a 15mm (0.59 inch) round rod to the required length. (shelf to ceiling distance minus 20mm or 0.79 inch)
- Assemble as shown in the images or check out the attached Step-by-Step Assembly Guide.
- Place the bottom foot on the furniture, the top foot against the ceiling, and tension by rotating the sleeve.
- Lock the thread with the cap for extra safety.
Note: The round rod is not included and must be sourced separately.
