Description
FRC #2984 uses this rotary encoder to control the angle that the robot points to (instead of a clumsy joystick). The problem is that the encoder has such great bearings, that it will spin for seconds if you push it. So this model adds 2 springs underneath the top acrylic plate to add enough friction that it won't spin without constantly pushing it.
