Welcome to my rendition of the Emergency 10mm socket holder!
I always found something off with the shape/font of other designs so I did some research and modeled this after an official fire warning system handle. Proportions of the base are set to look appealing to the size of the 10mm socket, and the font is the offical font for emergency labels, making it clear and easy to read.
*Sorry for the stringy looking text in the pics, using old PETG and my dryer hasn't arrived yet. Using properly dried PETG or PLA should result in crisp text on the face. Will update pics once my dryer arrives. Other users have reported great success printing in PLA for crisp text.
Features:
- Print profile for either a 1/4" or 3/8" socket.
- Small mounting dimple on the socket peg to prevent the socket from sliding off.
- Wall mountable using screws or nails, or magnetic mount using 10x3mm round magnets (link below).
- Prints face up, with one single support behind the socket peg.
- Dual color, allowing you to change body and text color.
- 30g total print filament.
