No Soliciting Sign - Ring Doorbell Mount

Nov 4th update: Added support for the MakerWorld Customizer feature that has since been released. Fusion also now supports modifying text fields through parameters, but I have now learned that the MakerWorld Customizer does not support this yet. When this is supported, I will come back and update it again! For now, though, you can at least set the size of your doorbell with the customizer.

Also, after months of using this, I can confirm - it does deter solicitors! I went from some days having 3 or 4 come up to my door to only 1 since I put it up. And that 1 was a kid doing a school fundraiser that probably didn't know about “No soliciting” laws. So it works 👍🏼

Simple sign to help deter solicitors and peddlers. Everywhere I've lived in the USA has had laws to prevent solicitors from coming to your door when you have a sign like this up. We recently had a major hailstorm in our area and more than a month after still have maybe 7 peddlers come to our door each week wanting to replace our roof. Earlier on, it was maybe 7 a day. That may be the same reason you're here looking for such a sign!

From what I hear from others, these signs often don't deter people even though it becomes illegal and punishable to solicit with one of these signs up. I thought adding the code for the law might help deter unwanted peddlers. I looked up my local code regarding that and put it on the sign. I'd encourage you to look up your local code, then remix this sign to add yours onto it! At very least, replace “Springdale” with your city name and the solicitor likely won't know whether that is the actual chapter, section, etc of the city code regarding soliciting. 

I have also included a version that doesn't contain the specific city code text underneath as well as a version that doesn't have the bit that mounts to the doorbell. I hope you find these useful and receive less solicitors throughout your days!
