Gridfinity Diamond Painting Organizer – 3x11 Tray with Compartments
🧩 Purpose
I made this model to help organize everything I use for diamond painting. Between the diamonds, pens, glue and the trays, I found myself constantly digging around for stuff. This Gridfinity-compatible organizer helps keep everything in one place, neat and easy to access while working
📐 Layout & Size
The entire setup fits into a 11x3 Gridfinity layout, which I generated using the Gridfinity Generator website (linked below). It's made to sit firmly in place and makes the most of the space
🛠️ Assembly
- There's a pause on both prints of the boxes, it's recommended that you glue in your magnets to the box then. Make sure they're facing the same way :)
- Three connectors are used to slide in the boxes together, use the wide part of the blind holes to do that
- Once you put the handle in, it's recommended to secure it with two nails glued in
🧰 Compartments & Trays
- 1 Large Open Compartment – Great for pens and spare trays, or just tossing in loose tools while working
- 2 Covered Tool Compartments – Best for glue or wax
- 5 Diamond Trays
- 39 Diamond Compartments - Obviously, for diamonds duh
🧲 Magnetic Boxes
Each of the compartments has a 6mm x 2mm round magnet (link below) underneath to help them stay in place. This makes sure they won’t slide or fall out while you’re moving the organizer. Also, it's just very satisfying to slide them in :)
🧴 Funnel Shoot for Pouring
There's a built-in shoot that helps you pour your diamonds back into their boxes without spilling. It’s a small thing, but it makes cleanup and color switching a lot easier
🧳 Handle & Slide-in Design
Two organizer boxes slide into each other securely, besides each of them has a handle holder on the top, so that you can pick up and move the whole setup easily.
