Description

This TPU driven support shaft assembly for the Bambu Lab AMS improves spool grip and rotation compared to the stock roller.
The flexible TPU surface helps prevent slipping and ensures smoother filament feeding.

Why this mod

Common AMS issues this upgrade addresses:

  • spool slipping during rewind
  • inconsistent filament tension
  • poor grip on cardboard or lightweight spools
  • Noise reduction

TPU provides better friction than the stock plastic roller, improving spool control.

  • smoother spool rotation
  • compatible with standard spools
  • simple replacement for the original driven support shaft

  • layer height: 0.16–0.2
  • 5 walls
