Description

Barrel as addition for Cyberbrick Duel Bumper Cars

When you hit the barrel, the head shoots up into the air. The barrel uses the same heads and the same mechanism as the “Bumper Cars”.

These barrels are not just for the Duel Bumper Cars, you can use them with other RC Cars, too!

This opens up new game-play possibilities:

  1. Cone race with barrels—if you hit an obstacle, you're out.
  2. Challenge to see who can hit all the barrels the fastest.
  3. Who can hit more barrels in the given time
  4. It's also a great way to practice the unusual controls of the bumper cars

Assembly:

Non-Printed Parts: 8pcs M2,5x6, 3pcs Helical compression spring 0,5x5x20 (BB007)
Use a spring for each arm and screw with M2,5x6 from both sides. Turn a halfway back if it is not moving.
Screw the two levers diagonally. Again, if the parts not moving unscrew a half turn.
Put the little pin in the spring and push combined into the hole.
Now it should look like this
Mount the ejecor mechanism with 2 screws in the bottom barrel
Insert the 2 sliders
Push the upper part from the barrel in place. It should snap in.

Let's go! Don't loose your head in a duel! Happy Printing😊👍

Maker Supply Info:

How much do the socket head screws matter compared to button head? I am putting together a list of materials for these, the cars, and remotes and hoping to be able to use the leftover screws from the Ultimate Hardware Kit. But will order socket head if that smaller head size matters for this model. Thanks! I'm looking forward to printing these. Planning to print 4 sets of two cars, remotes, and a few barrels for Christmas presents for my nieces and nephews! EDIT: Looks like based on the photos that button head are okay for the internal mechanism, but the socket head screws may be needed for the underside of the barrel.
