The Millennium Falcon is one of the most famous starships in the Star Wars series, a modified YT-1300 light freighter manufactured by Corellian Engineering Corporation. Known for its dilapidated exterior and exceptional performance, it's dubbed the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy. Captain Han Solo and his co-pilot Chewbacca extensively modified it, giving it 0.5 hyperdrive capability and equipping it with quad laser cannons, concussion missiles, and other weaponry. The Millennium Falcon played a crucial role in the Rebel Alliance's fight against the Empire, including shielding Luke Skywalker as he destroyed the Death Star. Its legendary history spans multiple owners, ultimately passing to Rey.
