Description
Since some of these caps were missing from our caravan awning and I own a 3D printer… long story short…
Here as always is the OnShape link if you want/need to make adjustments (but feel free to contact me as well)
The profile now includes three variations with different (6mm, 7mm, and 8mm) inner diameters and additional struts for better grip on poles of varying thicknesses.
I printed it in TPU for the flexibility of the original, but ABS or PETG will also suffice (PLA is less suitable due to its known limitations and the exposed location of use)
