Description

I created a system to be able to activate the remote start feature found on FCA keyless remotes.

Basically thanks to a servomotor it goes to press the button on the remote control twice and so it turns the car on.

All this is possible thanks to the NodeMCU ESP8266, in which inside is loaded ESPHOME with a simple script.

This system then can be reached from homeassistant.

Physically you only need to insert the servo motor into its housing, then connect the cables as follows:

  • RED ---> 5volt ---> PIN Vin
  • BROWN ---> GND ---> PIN GND
  • ORANGE --> PWM ---> PIN D1

If you need the scripit on ESPHOME let me know !!!
