45-Degree Adhesion Test Tower

This diagnostic 3D model is designed to evaluate bed adhesion performance under challenging printing conditions. The model consists of a simple square tower positioned at a 45-degree angle to the build plate, creating maximum stress on the first layer adhesion throughout the print.

Print Settings:

Testing Purpose: This model challenges bed adhesion by creating an overhanging structure that places continuous stress on the bond between the first layer and the build surface. The 45-degree angle maximizes the lateral forces that could cause print failure, while the vase mode ensures consistent wall thickness and eliminates potential weak points from layer boundaries. Success with this model indicates excellent bed adhesion and proper first layer calibration.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Pass: Tower completes without lifting, warping, or detaching
  • Fail: Base corners lift, model detaches, or print fails mid-process
