Abus Granit Detecto X-Plus 8077 Lock Mount

This is a mount for an Abus 8077 disc brake lock. I found a few variations available but none that would attach to my bike easily. I took the lock mount side from the referenced model, made a few small changes and added a mount that works for the 15/16mm grab rail on my bike. The mount on the original model was very bulky and required heating to mould it to the frame and I wanted to move away from that. The new mount provides for 3 heavy duty UV resistant zip ties to hold the mount on a rail.

A small square of bicycle inner tube glued as shown in the photo removes any remaining rattle from the lock once in place but isn't necessary. Another piece can be added in the rail groove to make movement even less likely once the zip ties are cinched down.

I printed in PETG with 70% gyroid infill for strength and UV resistance. I also used a PLA support interface with strong tree supports from the build plate. I prefer the output with Support critical regions only turned off.
