Description

This is a RopeWalk for making scale model ship rope.

You can make your own rope for rigging and make any size and number of strands.

Usually you would use 2 or more threads and then spin them together with the gear side and then use the rotating side to tighten the strands. It is made for using any driver bit that you get with cordless drills.

This is easy to use and just do a Youtube search for ropewalk and you can find some good tutorials on how to use this. I take it you already know how to use this if you found my design.

This will require 5 M3 x 10mm bolts, 6 small cup hooks and 5 608ZZ bearings.

Looking at the pictures you can see how to assemble it which is pretty easy. You may need to enlarge a couple screw holes depending on the size of your cup hooks.

Do print with .20mm Strength settings in PLA. I have used this extensively and it works excellent once you get the hang of making rope.

Have fun and let me know if you need any help.
