I present to you my latest creation: ShardStorm – the winged, articulated crystal dragon with a movable jaw.
Countless hours have gone into this project since I started working on it back in March. After a lot of back and forth — and nearly giving up on it — I knew there was only one way forward: straight ahead.
And now it’s finally finished, and I hope you’ll enjoy ShardStorm.
A heartfelt thank you for the name — it was suggested by my Patreon member Ryan.
I designed the model in two sizes: the Original (OG Size) and a specially adapted Small Version, which is about 20% smaller than the original.
I had to do it this way because the OG Size can’t really be scaled down due to already tight tolerances.
The Small Version might be scaled down further — but I haven’t tested that.
Note: This model requires support structures — especially under the upper jaw.
The ones under the wings could potentially be skipped, but I included them just to be safe.
