Avensis T27 Tweeter Adapter for Audison AP 1P

This is an adapter for a Toyota Avensis T27 to mount an Audison Ap 1P tweeter into the stock tweeter location.

It bothered me that there was no good way to mount an aftermarket tweeter without making a huge amount of work.

So i came up with the idea for this adapter.

It fits very snuggly into the oem location without rattling. 

I let a 1mm Space between the top of the adapter and the oem tweeter cover, so i could use a foam tape between them to prevent rattling just like the oeam tweeter.

The foam is not needed on the side of the adapter - only on the top towards the oem tweeter cover.

Somehow i haven´t trimmed it down for the pictures and it was pretty hard to fit the adapter with the foam on the side - so no need for that - only a small top layer of foam tape will do the job

After its installed in the oeam location you take the Tweeter und put it on the adapter - it fits only in 1 location! When its is placed you simply just need a ¼ Turn and the tweeter locks into place - no rattling or coming loose -.

And you are done ! 

Maybe it will fit other tweeters too, but i used it to mount my Audiosn Ap 1P tweeter which came with my Audison APK 165P Set.

i Printed it in ASA so it can withstand summer heat and lasts long.
