Summary

big boom sniper. Takes 1/2 inch rods/dowels for the support/assembly and for the charging handle assembly. the charging handle should be able to slide. split for printing, see plate files for bamboo printers.

SPRING ASSEBLY FILES REPLACES THE TWO MAIN BODY PARTS TO ALLOW FOR THE BOLT TO RETRACT AND SPRING BACK ON ITSELF. Print the spring with the length to the build plate, the flat sides on it.

Not Glued yet. Still need to fashion a dowell because 1/2" isn't the right size. The core size seems more like a tiny bit smaller than 5/8". Colored in Bambu studio & printed with the proper color filaments on an H2D dual AMS. Took over 2 weeks to do it all. Color match isn't perfect, but overall happy with the results and the quality of the model. Thanks!

Hole size too big for 1/2" dowel, too small for 5/8 :') Registration holes for the handle and body would be a good revision. Overall great print!

first time printing with 0.8mm, made that one part as test print on my 0.4mm nozzle (for painting practice first) 🫶 Hope to post the final prop in a week!

Is 0.8mm nozzle required? I only have a 0.4 and I've tried to convert it in Bambu Studio but the print has failed no matter how I try to adjust the plates.
