Description: Also known as a gravity pendulum, this features a hexagonal jar at its center. This jar can hold coins, glass beads, or similar items as counterweights. With the appropriate counterweight, the chaotic pendulum will stand upright.
Gameplay: Gently push different layers of the chaotic pendulum to make it sway. You can also have children calculate how much money should be placed in the bottom jar to balance the top jar containing a 10-cent coin, ensuring the pendulum remains upright.
Color Schemes: Multiple color schemes can be used during printing to suit personal preferences. The default color scheme is white, orange, and cyan. The default configuration requires three plates for printing; however, a single color scheme only requires two plates.
Supports: This chaotic pendulum requires no supports and can be printed directly.
Accessories: Few accessories are needed: four 2mm x 20mm cylindrical pins (small metal rods); one 2mm x 60mm cylindrical pin (small metal rod); ten 2mm x 8mm self-tapping screws (can be omitted; strong adhesive can be used instead).
Note: The cylindrical pins (small metal rods) do not need to be exactly 60mm long; a slightly longer length provides better support, but a shorter length is also sufficient. If you purchase longer metal rods, they can be trimmed to 6cm with pliers. Alternatively, instead of purchasing cylindrical pins, you can reuse a metal skewer from a barbecue, cut it to size, or use toothpicks as a substitute; however, toothpicks may not provide sufficient weight-bearing capacity and should only be considered as an alternative.
