Design Base for ADA 20C with Recessed Tank
Custom-made print file for a high-quality base suitable for the ADA 20C aquarium (20×20×20 cm) – developed for precise fit, minimalist design, and elegant presentation.
🔹Description:
- The base is 3.5 cm high and designed so that the aquarium is recessed 9 mm deep.
- The recess is precisely dimensioned so that a 4 mm Garden Mat and a 5 mm glass bottom visually disappear completely into the base – the tank appears flush and floating.
- The prototype was printed in PETG for a durable, robust finish.
🔹Technical Details:
- Total height: 35 mm
- Recess depth: 9 mm
- Internal recess dimensions: 201.10 mm x 201.10 mm – precisely matched to my ADA 20C within 0.1 mm
- Material recommendation: PETG or similarly temperature- and dimensionally stable filaments
- Design element: Discreetly rounded corners on the top edge for smooth, modern lines
🔧Important Note:
The model was specifically created for an ADA 20C with actual measured external dimensions of 201.10 mm x 201.10 mm.
Since ADA aquariums may have slight production-related tolerances, it is strongly recommended to precisely measure your own tank dimensions before printing to ensure a perfect fit.
