Insect Knight Cinewhoop

Introducing the Bug Knight 2-inch cinewhoop frame, now with open-source frame models for custom cutting. The printable parts and accessories list are also open-source, allowing for complete DIY construction and emphasizing affordability and customization.

Bug Knight Cinewhoop: 2-inch Pocket Whoop, 2~3s High-Performance Freestyle (Carbon 75p Cinewhoop Series – Part 2)

Frame Name: Bug Knight (tàn bug knight)
The frame is designed for DJI O4 Air Unit; O3, O4P, and analog versions are not officially supported and require user adaptation.

Recommended Assembly Paths:
1. Transplant components from a 2~3s frame, such as the Pavo series. The 20 and 20 Pro offer aggressive performance, while the Femto and Pico are more moderate.
2. Build from scratch. I personally recommend the Holybro or Ziyin 1202.5 motors; the quality-to-price ratio is excellent. For an AIO flight controller, I recommend the TINGHAO F405 40A; its performance surpasses many well-known AIOs (likely due to the ESC firmware—I haven't fully grasped the intricacies yet).

With a 2S 600mAh battery, the all-up weight is approximately 100g.

Key Features:
1. Ultralight, high-performance 2S configuration (3S also compatible), emulating the feel of a 5-inch quad.
2. Compact 2-inch configuration with a front-mounted camera, featuring an exceptionally short wheelbase.
3. O4-compatible dampeners with quick angle adjustment.
4. Colorful aluminum alloy standoffs (currently only black is available due to a shortage of colored standoffs).
5. Compatible with 3-pin and 4-pin motors.
6. Toray T300 dual carbon fiber plate construction with PCB encapsulation.
7. Eight-point support between carbon plates, reinforcing longitudinal stability.
8. Relatively stiff pre-stressed O4 dampeners, eliminating jello and vibrations (however, internal stabilization is not yet perfect).

Frame: Toray T300 3K carbon fiber; top plate 2mm, bottom plate 2.5mm. Employing twill matte finish, chamfered edges, engraving, and recessed designs.

Propellers: Maximum 53mm (2-inch)
Motors: Compatible with 3-pin and 4-pin motors, M1.4 mounting holes. 1103-1303 motors recommended. I have personally tested Holybro and Ziyin 1202.5 motors; they offer excellent power-to-weight and hover around 20% throttle.

Battery: Recommended: Brotherhobby P7 2S~3S 600mAh; 2S provides approximately 4 minutes of aggressive flight and 7 minutes of cruising.
