I'd like to upgrade to a new 3D printer, thanks for your support!
Because commercially available waist-mounted fans are expensive and battery quality is inconsistent, I designed my own.
This fan is designed for my elderly parents, so the operation is as simple and straightforward as possible.
Tools required to make this waist-mounted fan: only a soldering iron is needed, no welding machine required.
Uses three 18650 batteries, 3000mAh capacity, and real-world testing shows that the low airflow setting can last for over 20 hours, high airflow is yet to be tested.
Fully charge the batteries before installation or perform voltage balancing beforehand. The battery case has a built-in protection board with overcharge and over-discharge protection, battery level indicator, and a DC charging port.
Required accessories are as follows:
Waist clips * 2
12V battery case * 1
Speed controller * 1
Mobile phone holder * 1 (optional if desktop functionality is not required)
M2.5*8 screws * 4
18650 batteries (recommended to purchase leading domestic brand cells) * 3 (preferably from the same batch)
12V charger * 1

The wiring diagram is as follows; connect the wires according to the instructions on the speed controller.
